This site was designed by Watusi Design in Charlotte, NC as the solution to a very specific need: a website that communicates the integrity and character of one of Charlotte's best-known businesses through strong visual impact, packed full of information, easy to navigate and most important: a comprehensive, searchable online portfolio for its artists with an easy-to-use upload utility which makes it possible to manage content with little or no experience in html, or other web-stuff...

"NO PROBLEMO" we said at Watusi and immediately started work on a database-driven website with a hand-drawn "look & feel" (as we web-geeks say), as well as immediately going under the needle for a little down-payment action. (You'll have to pay cash for yours...) Collaborating with ACE Tattooist Rodney Raines, L. Shawn Gentry from Watusi put together an idea for the ultimate Tattoo Shop website: one that is hand-draw, edgy, uses the latest online database technology, includes COMPLETE portfolio, bios and schedules for its artists, and on top of it all: Kicks ASS just like ACE Custom Tattoos.
